Jobbik receives harsh punishment for what Fidesz gets away with

Even though Fidesz has obliged all political parties to pay the highest possible list price for outdoor media, the governing party still leased around a thousand outdoor media surfaces at last year’s prices. One government-friendly outdoor media company has raised its billboard prices by 50 per cent as of January 1, 2018 (right for the time of the election campaign) but it still charged the Y2017 list prices in a contract signed with Fidesz party director Gábor Kubatov on January 29, 2018. As it was reported earlier, the State Audit Office (SAO) unlawfully imposed a HUF-663-million fine on Jobbik after the SAO refused to take over the relevant financial reports and documents from the most popular opposition party. We are curious to see if the SAO, a formerly independent institution now headed by an ex-Fidesz MP, takes any measures now.

By voting for Jobbik on April 8, people will be able to give an apt reply to the rampant double standards, corruption and abuse of power, in other words, the establishment of an authoritarian regime.
